The humanitarian crisis in Sudan continues to worsen as the civil war persists, leading to a significant level of malnutrition throughout the nation, according to Jean-Nicolas Armstrong Dangelser, head of mission for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Sudan. Dangelser also highlighted the partial breakdown of Sudan’s healthcare system, resulting in many individuals having limited or no access to healthcare professionals and essential medicines. However, the recent capture of key buildings in Khartoum by the Sudanese army has provided MSF with greater access to vulnerable populations, as reported by Dangelser.
