New Insights into Ukraine’s Drone Attacks on Russian Airfields

The sweeping drone attack by Ukraine, referred to as the “Spider’s web,” targeted Russian warplanes on Sunday. The attack was the result of meticulous planning over a period of more than a year and a half by Ukrainian security services. They claimed that the strikes resulted in the destruction of 34 percent of Russian strategic bombers carrying cruise missiles, with estimated damages totaling $7 billion.
