Poland adjusts its stance on Ukraine, as the conflict enters its third year

Following three years of accepting hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees, Poles are growing increasingly unfriendly towards them. As a presidential election approaches, candidates have capitalized on anti-Ukrainian sentiments, claiming that they strain the Polish economy. However, employers and economists argue that the refugees have actually contributed to economic growth.
