Following the assault on the chief rabbi of Orleans, French President Emmanuel Macron criticized the “poison of antisemitism.” The attack occurred on Saturday evening when the rabbi, accompanied by his young child, was walking in the center of the city. Shortly after the incident, the attacker was apprehended and subsequently admitted to a psychiatric center.
