Protests against the increase in fuel prices in Angola result in at least 22 fatalities.

The Angolan government announced on Wednesday that a minimum of 22 individuals lost their lives as a result of the surge in fuel prices in the oil-abundant southern African nation. This has caused two days of violent disturbances, leading to hundreds of injuries and more than 1,200 people being apprehended.
