Palestinian filmmaker Hamdan Ballal, co-director of the Oscar-winning film ‘No Other Land’, was attacked by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank on Monday before being detained by soldiers. Witnesses reported that settlers stormed the village of Susiya, assaulting Ballal outside his home. Soldiers later detained Ballal along with two others.
