Richard Chamberlain, an actor who was nominated for multiple Emmy Awards and became a heartthrob of the 1960s, passed away at the age of 90. Chamberlain rose to popularity with his role in the TV medical drama “Dr. Kildare” and also starred in notable miniseries such as “Shogun” and “The Thorn Birds”.
