The President of South Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol, has been dismissed from his position as the Constitutional Court unanimously supported his impeachment. Yoon’s suspension in December was due to his unsuccessful endeavor to establish martial law. A fresh presidential election needs to be conducted by June 3 to appoint a new leader. Camille Knight provides more details.
