The US Supreme Court temporarily halted the deportation of Venezuelan migrants held in northern Texas on Saturday. Despite President Donald Trump’s defense of migrant detention and expulsion using an 18th century wartime statute, the Supreme Court decided that those facing deportation have the right to contest their expulsion legally.
