The Estonian town of Narva, situated on the border with Russia, could potentially be on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion map if he were to take that route. The only separation between the two countries is a bridge. The town is divided culturally, with some members of its Russian-speaking community holding onto memories of the Soviet era, while others worry about Moscow’s potential war ambitions. In brace of a possible invasion, the people of Estonia are attending military training sessions and preparing themselves for any possible outcomes. Our France 24 colleagues share the story, featuring FRANCE 24’s Lauren Bain.
