The Alliance of Sahel States, comprising of Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger, declared on Sunday that they have recalled their ambassadors from Algeria following the downing of a Malian drone recently. They declared this action a breach of international law and cited it as evidence of state-backed terrorism.
