The trial of a Moroccan female activist, facing charges of “insulting Islam,” has been rescheduled.

Ibtissame Lachgar, a Moroccan activist for women’s rights, was arrested on Sunday after sharing a picture of herself wearing a shirt that said “Allah is lesbian,” causing a widespread angry reaction. The hearing regarding her case was delayed for two weeks on Wednesday when she asked for more time to prepare her defense.
