The Attorney General of Venezuela, Tarek Saab, announced on Monday that his office will conduct an investigation into President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador and two other officials, regarding alleged mistreatment of Venezuelan detainees in El Salvador. This decision comes in the wake of the repatriation of more than 250 Venezuelans from CECOT prison in El Salvador, a process which was supported by the U.S.
