Trump declares ban on entry to the US for citizens of 12 countries

Late on Wednesday, US President Donald Trump reinstated his travel ban from the beginning of his first term, now barring individuals from 12 countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, and Somalia. The proclamation extends to Burma, Chad, Congo, Eritrea, Haiti, Sudan, Yemen, and Equatorial Guinea as well. While critics view the policy as prejudicial, the administration justifies it based on security reasons.
