Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a social media post on Friday that a Russian drone armed with a high-explosive warhead struck the cover protecting a power unit at the destroyed Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The Kremlin denied targeting Ukrainian nuclear sites, while the European Union said the attack was “reckless”.
