Science journalist Frédéric Castel is welcoming NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams back to Earth after their nine-month stay on the International Space Station due to a technical issue. They made their journey home on a SpaceX spacecraft, spending 17 hours in transit before making a successful landing in the Gulf of Mexico. The astronauts will now undergo a rehabilitation period to readjust their bodies to Earth’s gravity over the course of several weeks.
