The talks focused on a temporary halt to strikes on energy infrastructure and security for shipping in the Black Sea.

The path to a truce in the Ukraine war remains shaky, with both sides insisting on their positions. At least three people were killed in a Russian drone attack on Kyiv, where Russia has intensified strikes in recent months.
