Pacific Tsunami Warnings Declared for U.S. and Japan Following Massive Earthquake

Following the 8.7 magnitude earthquake near Russia’s coastline, emergency alerts and advisories were issued for certain areas in Japan and Alaska. In Hawaii, authorities informed the populace to prepare for the arrival of destructive waves.
