Flight tracking data indicates a significant movement of US military aircraft towards the Middle East recently, including routes via the UK.
Between Monday and Thursday, fifty-two US military planes were observed flying over the eastern Mediterranean heading towards the Middle East.
This includes at least 25 that passed through Chania airport in Crete, marking an eight-fold increase in arrivals compared to the first half of June.
This military activity comes as the US considers providing assistance to Israel in its conflict with Iran.
