Two Labour Members of Parliament have been refused entry to Israel and subsequently deported.
Yuan Yang and Abtisam Mohamed were deemed ineligible because they were allegedly suspected of intentions to “record the actions of security forces and foster anti-Israel animosity”, as indicated in a statement by the Israeli immigration ministry.
Ms Yang, representing Earley and Woodley, and Ms Mohamed, who is the MP for Sheffield Central, arrived in the country via Luton this past Saturday.
