Stuart MacGill, a former Australian Test cricketer, has been found guilty of his involvement in the supply of cocaine in Sydney.
Although he pleaded not guilty to participating in the supply of a prohibited drug, the jury in New South Wales District Court ultimately convicted him. MacGill testified that he used cocaine and introduced his partner’s brother to his drug supplier.
However, the jury cleared MacGill of being involved in the commercial supply of the drug, and he only received a conviction for knowingly taking part in its supply.
