Despite the conflict, Starmer believes Trump is committed to achieving lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine, emphasizing that Europe is currently experiencing a sensitive period. The Prime Minister expressed discomfort about the altercation that took place in the Oval Office between Trump, US vice president JD Vance, and the Ukrainian president. Starmer assured the public that efforts are underway to find a way for all parties to work together towards an end to the prolonged conflict.
