A powerful earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale has hit Myanmar, causing tremors to be felt even in Bangkok.

In Bangkok, the Thai capital, hundreds of people evacuated their buildings after the quake, heeding safety precautions.

Videos shared on social media revealed significant water loss from infinity pools in the city.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake’s epicenter was located near Mandalay in Myanmar, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Thankfully, there have been no reports of damage or casualties up until now.
