Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived at Downing Street to hold crisis talks with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer, following an intense encounter with former U.S. leader Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

Upon arrival, Mr Zelenskyy was warmly welcomed by Sir Keir with a handshake and a hug, which was reciprocated with a smile.

Briefly speaking, and giving a positive nod to the cameras, the two shook hands and posed outside No. 10, presenting a united front amidst international tides.

This week, both the Ukrainian president and the British prime minister visited the White House; however, their engagements at the White House had contrasting outcomes.

After confrontations with Mr Trump and U.S. Vice President JD Vance, Mr Zelenskyy departed the White House earlier than scheduled, and the rest of the day’s agenda was annulled.

His arrival in the UK signals a new chapter, with planned discussions with Sir Keir and a scheduled meeting with the King on Sunday.
