Apart from being a tech mogul and the head of SpaceX, Tesla, and Twitter, Elon Musk paid a visit to the Pentagon on a Friday to discuss future technology and operational efficiency improvements with defense secretary Pete Hegseth.

Contrary to President Trump’s assertions, this was not Musk’s briefing on the U.S. military strategy in the event of a potential conflict with China.

On the 62nd day of the Trump administration, journalists James Matthews and Martha Kelner explore why Musk was at the Pentagon and whether his dealings raise any conflict of interest for the Trump team.

James also shares his recent experience at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C., where Donald Trump has taken on the role of a self-anointed chairman, much to the dismay of the center’s artists.
