Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with the King at Sandringham.

The Ukrainian president flew to the royal estate in Norfolk via helicopter, following a security summit with Sir Keir Starmer and various global leaders in central London.

Outside Sandringham, a crowd – some waving Ukraine flags – had gathered to catch a glimpse of Mr Zelenskyy’s arrival. A military helicopter was seen low in the sky before landing on the estate around 5:25 PM.

Photos released after the meeting show Charles and Mr. Zelenskyy shaking hands at the entrance to the extensive estate.

They had a brief conversation before heading inside for more photographs.

The Sandringham visit ended a challenging week for Mr Zelenskyy.

His visit to see Donald Trump at the White House was cut short on Friday due to a tense and heated exchange in the Oval Office, which led to the cancellation of a minerals deal and joint press conference.
