The Prime Minister is utilizing language in Parliament that is difficult for me to comprehend. On Wednesday, he declared the Coalition as “delulu with no solulu.” I am uncertain about the meaning. Politicians are known for utilizing catchy phrases, similar to how young individuals enjoy TikTok. The term “delulu,” which translates to “delusional with no solution,” originates from internet slang related to K-pop fans. In its current usage, it represents a declaration of radical self-love and the pursuit of dreams, suggesting the Coalition lacks concrete plans for nuclear energy. However, employing such language to attract younger voters can come across as cringe.
