Australia aims to decrease greenhouse gas emissions to 62-70% of 2005 levels by 2035 according to the federal government’s new climate goal.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced the long-awaited target on Thursday after cabinet approved the Climate Change Authority’s recommendations.
