Donald Trump Claims He Will File $15 Billion Legal Action Against The New York Times | Donald Trump

Donald Trump has announced that he is filing a $15 billion lawsuit against the New York Times, claiming defamation and libel. In a post on social media, the President stated that the newspaper has been falsifying information about him, his family, business, and the America First Movement, as well as the country as a whole, for decades.

Trump specifically pointed out the New York Times’ endorsement of Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election, accusing the newspaper of becoming a mouthpiece for the Radical Left Democrat Party. The lawsuit is being filed in Florida, though no further details were provided.

He also cited previous lawsuits filed against ABC News and anchor George Stephanopoulos, as well as Paramount over a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris. Both cases were settled with payments of $15 million and $16 million, respectively.

The New York Times did not respond to requests for comment outside of regular business hours.
