NFL star Odell Beckham Jr has denied any involvement in a lawsuit that accuses Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of orchestrating a gang-rape in California.
In the initial lawsuit filed in October, Ashley Parham claimed she was enticed to an apartment in Orinda, California, where she was allegedly assaulted by multiple men, with Combs allegedly watching. An amended lawsuit filed on Friday reportedly names former Beckham as one of her attackers.
Beckham issued a statement denying the allegations, stating he was not in California at the time and has never met the plaintiff. He expressed confidence that the claims against him would be dismissed.
Law enforcement in Contra Costa county investigated the accusations and found them to be unfounded, supporting Beckham’s claim.
Combs’s legal team also denies the accusations, affirming that their client was not in Orinda, California, on the day of the alleged assault, a fact confirmed by the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department.
Beckham, a three-time Pro Bowler who won the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams in the 2021 season, is currently a free agent. Combs is in custody awaiting trial on federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, with his trial set to begin in May.
