Heathrow airport, located in London, has been temporarily shut down until midnight on Friday following a fire at an electrical substation. The fire has resulted in a substantial power outage, affecting thousands of residents and forcing evacuation of over 100 individuals. The London Fire Brigade reported a transformer at the substation in Hayes was on fire, with about 70 firefighters present at the scene. A total of 150 individuals from surrounding properties have been evacuated as a safety precaution. Additionally, over 16,000 homes have been left without power due to the incident. The fire is expected to cause disruptions throughout the morning, prompting authorities to advise the general public to avoid the area.
