Investigation launched into another suspected fire at children’s day care facility in New South Wales following two incidents within a week.

New South Wales police are investigating a suspected arson attack on a second childcare centre in Sydney, following two fires at the same chain within four days. Police claim that multiple people are responsible for a fire at the Play to Learn centre in Castle Hill, Sydney’s north-west, where the suspects gained entry to the rear of the centre and started a blaze. The fire caused minimal damage as the sprinkler systems quickly extinguished the fire. Emergency services were called approximately at 1:30am. This comes after a previous suspicious fire at the Play to Learn childcare centre in Turramurra on Sydney’s upper north shore on Friday. The arson squad will now take over both investigations due to potential links. The Castle Hill centre will remain closed for several hours for police investigations. The casting a worry as it happened in a residential street. Play to Learn, which has operated for 19 years and runs three centres in NSW, stated that their CCTV system recorded both incidents.
