Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian rights activist, was released from ICE detention on Friday and returned to Columbia University on Sunday to continue his advocacy for Palestinian freedom and resistance against the university and the Trump administration. Khalil, who was detained for over 100 days in Louisiana, thanked his supporters and criticized Columbia University for attempting to expel more students for their stance on Palestine. He stated that he would continue to fight against the restrictive policies and actions of the university and the Trump administration. Photographs show Khalil reunited with his wife and supporters.
