An activist, whose case had raised concerns regarding “freedom of expression” in the UK by the US state department, has been found guilty of violating a buffer zone outside an abortion clinic.

Livia Tossici-Bolt, a pro-life advocate, recently faced trial at Poole Magistrates Court, accused of breaching a public spaces protection order on two occasions in March 2023 near a clinic in Bournemouth.

p class=”dcr-16w5gq9″>A group from the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, part of the US Department of State, had a meeting with her last month during their visit to the UK, accompanied by a US-backed anti-abortion organization that has been providing support to her case.
