Former Reform UK MP Rupert Lowe, recently expelled from the party, may consider teaming up with a former deputy leader who was also ousted by Nigel Farage for a potential new right-wing party.

This proposal comes from Ben Habib, a former Brexit party MEP and vocal critic of Farage. He claims to be in regular contact with Lowe.

Lowe lost the party whip after accusations of bullying and threatening the party chair, Zia Yusuf. He denies these claims and has previously criticized Farage’s leadership as “messianic” and faulted the party’s decision-making.

The rift within Reform UK emerges ahead of crucial May local elections and a critical by-election in Runcorn and Helsby where the party aims to prove their potential for victory.

Bench Habitat, who stood for Reform in Wellingborough and Rushden by-election, left the party last year over governance concerns. He says to The Telegraph that he and Lowe share common political motivations.

Habib stated that he is prepared to form a joint venture with Lowe, emphasizing their shared goal of electoral influence.

Despite the fallout with Reform, Lowe remains popular, and he has the support of many. Accordingly, Habib is committed to backing Lowe’s political endeavors.

Lowe was considered a potential leader of Reform UK by Elon Musk, who later showed dissatisfaction with Farage. Musk is reportedly willing to fund a new right-wing party with stricter immigration policies that Lowe supports.

Reform UK representatives in Westminster released a statement backing Lowe, claiming his rights were weaponized maliciously.

Lowe’s team asserted the पहले issues with his conduct were never raised prior to the investigation, questioning why they were not warned if it was a concern.

In an interview with Dan Wootton, Lowe kept the door open for joining the Conservatives or UKIP and has not made any final decisions about his future.

He suggested he is being forced out of Reform UK because he poses a threat to Farage, drawing attention to a pattern of Farage distancing himself from those he sees as either a threat or potential successors.
