Trump Claims Multiple Acts of Sabotage Following Technical Difficulties During UN Appearance

Donald Trump accused the United Nations of “triple sabotage” after experiencing several misfortunes during his address to the international organization.

Trump wrote on Truth Social that a “REAL DISGRACE” occurred at the United Nations, citing three sinister events that he believes were intentional.

The first incident involved an escalator carrying Trump and the First Lady to the General Assembly Hall, which stopped abruptly. Trump expressed disbelief that the couple didn’t fall forward onto the metal steps.

Next, his teleprompter malfunctioned, leaving him without the visual cues he was accustomed to.

After Trump improvised part of his speech, the First Lady informed him that she couldn’t hear a word he said, further fueling his conspiracy theory.

Trump demanded an immediate investigation, calling it “triple sabotage,” and a scandal that has been dubbed “escalatorgate.”

The United Nations claimed that the escalator stoppage was an accident caused by a US delegation videographer inadvertently triggering the safety mechanism.

Despite technical difficulties with his delivery, Trump’s combative speech against the UN and warning to European allies was heard loud and clear.

The White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, alleged that the elevator stoppage was a deliberate act by UN staffers intending to humiliate the US President and the First Lady.

Trump cited a Times of London report claiming that UN staff had threatened to turn off the escalators, joking that they would tell the president that the money ran out – a jab at the significant US funding cuts.

Trump demanded that the individuals responsible for the so-called sabotage be arrested.
