Airports in Norway and Denmark experienced disruptions on Monday night due to drone sightings, resulting in flight delays and cancellations. Copenhagen Airport, the busiest in the Nordic region, reopened early on Tuesday after being closed for almost four hours due to drone sightings. The police in Copenhagen are conducting an extensive investigation to determine the type of drones involved, but no drones have been captured. The airport informed that there would be ongoing delays and cancellations, and advised passengers to contact their airlines for updates. Oslo Airport also closed its airspace due to a drone observation, diverting all flights to nearby airports. Danish and Norwegian authorities will collaborate to investigate whether there is a connection between the two incidents. Danish police reported that two or three large drones were seen flying around Copenhagen Airport, leading to the diversion of around 50 flights. The airport confirmed that police were investigating the drones but provided no further details.
