Five teenagers have been arrested following the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy at a suspected flat party in Nottingham. Two others, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, also suffered injuries during the incident. Emergency services responded to the scene at Hounds Gate shortly after 11:40 p.m. on Friday. The victim was hospitalized with severe but non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects, an 18-year-old man and four 17-year-old boys, remain in police custody. Roads in the area were closed, and Nottingham Castle briefly shut its doors due to the disruption. Police urge anyone who was in the flat or witnessed individuals fleeing the scene to come forward. Additionally, dashcam footage from drivers is requested. DI Chris Berryman emphasizes that this kind of violence will not be tolerated. There have been other recent knife crime incidents in Nottingham; however, as of now, there is no link to this incident. Supt Kathryn Craner vows to maintain a high and visible police presence in the city, offering reassurance and addressing any concerns from the public.
