According to a statement from Ambulance Victoria, paramedics were dispatched to the scene near Geelong around 8:20 AM today. Christian College Geelong confirmed that members of its school community were affected but provided no further details. The Hamilton Highway is currently closed in both directions between Burnside Road and Friend In Hand Road because of the incident, which is under the control of Victoria Police.
