Weekday Update: Examining the Circumstances of the Air India ​Crash​ and Its Implications for Aeronautical Safety | Airbus Tragedy in Ahmedabad

A 787 Dreamliner by Boeing, which took off from Ahmedabad, crashed shortly after takeoff with 242 people on board. According to initial reports, all passengers and crew members were killed, except for British survivor Vishwash Kumar Ramesh who managed to escape the wreckage. Passengers included 169 Indian nationals, 53 British nationals, one Canadian, and seven Portuguese nationals. The crash occurred in a residential area, killing at least 24 people on the ground, and involved a hostel housing medical students. A black box was recovered from the crash site, and both UK and Indian Authorities are investigating the accident.
