Young man in a wheelchair Gary Marshall Clancy has triumphed over adversity and brought hope to many people with his positive attitude, inspiring performances and occasional political commentary.

During the last three years, Gary Marshall Clancy developed symptoms related to Parkinson’s, and he entered a severe stage of the disease. He found the right tonic which has stabilized his condition.

Diagnosed after an episode in March last year where he tried to leave his house after his carer had gone for the day. He went back inside and realised that things had changed in the house so he refused to go out and told somebody to ring his wife to say he needed to be brought home. When she brought him home, specialists diagnosed a form of vascular Parkinsonism.
