A trade court in the US has blocked Donald Trump from implementing extensive global tariffs on imports.
A panel of three judges ruled that the US president overstepped his authority when he announced additional taxes on imports from abroad.
Typically, tariffs require approval from Congress – but Trump argued he had the power to act because of a national emergency.
